정부는 현재 제조업manufacturing과 건설업construction 등 일부certain 업종에만 허용된 비전문취업 비자, E-9 비자를 한식당에 취업하는 외국인에게도 허용하기로 했습니다.

정부는 임업forestry과 광업mining에도 E-9 외국 인력을 허용하기로 했는데, 호텔업은 업계의 반발 등을 이유로 막판last minute에 제외됐습니다.
The government decided to allow E-9 foreign workers in forestry and mining, but the hotel industry was excluded at the last minute due to opposition from the industry.
내년 E-9 비자 외국 인력은 올해보다 37.5% 증가한 16만 5천 명 수준으로 3년 만에 3배로 늘게 됩니다.

외국인 노동자 단체들은 "외국인 노동자 근로여건 문제로 사회적 논란이 컸던 만큼 채용과정hiring process부터 임금 지급까지 세밀한【세밀하다】detailed 관리가 이뤄져야 한다"고 강조했습니다.
