ROK War Ships Leave Shanghai After 4-day Visit

The destroyer Chungmugong Yi Sun-sin and replenishment oiler Tae Cheong from the Republic of Korea (ROK) left Shanghai on Thursday after their four-day visit.

During the visit, the sailors of the navies of China and ROK visited the war ships and held a friendly football match. The sailors of ROK also gave a deck reception and presented interesting performances for their Chinese counterparts.

Leaving Shanghai, the ROK war ships will participate in a joint drill with the Chinese destroyer Xi'an on subjects including communication check and fleet formation movement.
