What a brilliant bank holiday escape to the Lake District! 🏞️
Our adventure began at Gummers Howe, where we enjoyed a carpark breakfast before soaking in the breathtaking views from the viewpoint.
Later, we relaxed by Windermere at Lakeside Pier, finding a lovely pub garden with stunning lake views. We even spent the night in the carpark, conveniently located by the aquarium 🐠
Monday's drizzle led us to explore the aquarium – a treat, especially seeing Lauren's favourite otters! 🦦
Our journey home took an unexpected turn, with bank holiday traffic turning our planned route via Chester into a six-hour crawl 🚐
