The box bellows deliver a large air flow at a good pressure which makes them very useful for providing the air to a charcoal furnace or a small forge.
These japanese style?? box bellows were made according to the steps shown here http://www.twinoaksforge.com/BLADSMIT... and here http://www.anvilfire.com/bookrev/kapp... , but i did not follow the exact measurements specified on the websites.
