Easy Fix: Problem with Half Double Crochet Rows

Incorrect counting with half double crochet rows is easy to happen if the pattern is telling you that the ch 2 at the beginning of a row counts as a half double crochet. It looks wrong and it's easy to miss it. Even after nearly 40 years of crochet, I still screw it up. Here's my hack on how to fix that.
