This is a very simple tutorial on how to get The Sims in Full HD and in widescreen.

Download the latest release
Extract everything from the zip
(Windows) Run Sims1WidescreenPatcher.exe as administrator
Locate and select your Sims.exe (does this automatically most of the time)
Select your preferred resolution
Ignore aspect ratio and wrapper
Click "Patch" and answer any prompts that appear
Run "The Sims.exe" file like normal
Enioy the nostalgia trip!
