Chasing Bombs - Big Lux reminisces about his musical journey coming full circle, returning to The VETS stage for the first time since playing with the Rhode Island Philharmonic Youth Orchestra twenty years ago. He shares a pair of original songs from his EP MAJOR, one of which takes the audience on an up-close and personal ride through the streets of Iraq in search of explosives. Big Lux is a larger-than-life Hip Hop artist determined to change the way people see the Violin and the world. His music reflects a life spread across five continents and multiple war zones, with original compositions taking audiences from Baghdad to Seoul to his hometown of Westerly, RI. By blending Hip Hop, Blue Grass, Jazz and stories from his own life, he creates an experience for his audience instead of a show. There are lots of ways to listen to a violin, but Big Lux wants people to feel it like never before.
