When there is hearing loss child may not respond to the mother or may not react like other normal children. They don't improve on vocabulary and they don't start to speak.
Hearing problems in children are much more common than you might think. Around 80% of children will experience 'Glue Ear' by the time they start school. For some, this can have lasting effects if it goes untreated.

He explains a simple seven sound test called the Ling test, what you are looking for and how to position your child.
As a result of performing this test yourself, we hope you might be able to check if your child struggles with hearing particular types of sounds, normally temporarily.
