上間 綾乃 Ayano Uema
沖縄県生まれ。7歳から唄三線を習い始め、19歳で琉球國民謡協会の教師免許を取得するほどの腕前を持つ。沖縄民謡で培った声をベースに、聴く者の心を揺さぶってやまない深い表現力の圧倒的なステージで、東京、大阪をはじめとする全国各地のライブも成功をおさめる中、2012年アルバム『唄者』で待望のメジャーデビュー。14年サードアルバム『はじめての海』をリリースし、同年、情熱大陸SPECIAL LIVE SUMMER TIME BONANZA'14へ参加。15年には、戦後70年という節目の年にCD「さとうきび畑～ウチナーグチ～」(緑の惑星プロジェクトより発売)に参加。ブルーノート・ビルボード系列のライブハウスでの東名阪ツアーも成功を収める。2016年、自身が作詞作曲を手がけた曲も収録したアルバム「魂うた」(まぶいうた)を発売。海外アーティストとのコラボレーションも行うなど、活動の幅を広げ、個性溢れる表現力で、今後ますますの活躍が期待されている。
A singer born in Okinawa. She started practice UtaSanshin, singing and playing Sanshin at the same time, since she was 7, and has high-level skill as well as take out teacher’s certificate of association of Ryukyu folk songs at 19. Her stages are overwhelming since she has a deep power of expression because of strongly emotional voice based on experiences of Ryukyu folk songs. Among her stages had achieved success in Tokyo, Osaka, and all over Japan, she finally made her major debut with a record album ”Utasha”. She released the third album “Hajimete no Umi” in 2014, in the same year, participated in Jonetsu-Tairiku SPECIAL LIVE SUMMER TIME BONANZA'14. In the important year that seventy years had passed since the war ended, she took part in the CD “Satoukibibatake~Uchina-guchi~”(Midori-no-wakusei project). She successed live tour at the live music clubs of Blue Note and Billboard among Tokyo, Nagoya, and Osaka. “Mabui-Uta”, recorded songs she wrote both music and words, was released 2016. Collaborating with foreign music artists and her other activities, she is expected broadening her fields with her original expressions.
