Wicked 2024 is a movie musical that covers Act 1, the first half of the stage show of the same name. The movie stars Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba, the Wicked Witch, and Ariana Grande as Galinda who later becomes Glinda the Good Witch. The movie, musical, and book, all take inspiration from the film and book The Wizard of Oz and explore the origin of the Wicked Witch of the West, how she became so wicked and what it really means to be evil or a villain in the world.
