Fresh Peach Lemonade - Refreshing Peach Lemonade Recipe - Ellen’s Homemade Delights 🍑🍋

Hello my Friends, welcome to my Southern Kitchen!

It’s been in the 100s outside lately, so today I am making another fantastic Lemonade recipe, this time it’s a Peach Lemonade! Refreshing, sweet, tart, and full of fresh Peach flavor; if y’all love Peach, y’all will love and enjoy this, it will quench up your thirst and it will cool you off!! Perfect on a hot, Summer day!!


3 cups fresh peaches, diced (about 6 peaches)
Zest of 3 large lemons
1 1/2 cups white sugar
1 teaspoon pure lemon extract
6 cups cold water, divided
1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice, about 7 lemons
Peach slices or diced peaches, lemon slices, fresh mint leaves, for garnishes (optional)


For the Peach Syrup

In a medium saucepan or large skillet over medium heat, add in the diced peaches, lemon zest, sugar and 2 cups of water. Stir until the sugar dissolves and let the mixture simmer until the peaches are soft and fork tender (do not boil). When the peaches are very soft, mash them with a potato masher or fork to break them up, then let the mixture simmer until it thickens slightly. Remove from the heat and strain the peach syrup mixture into a bowl and discard the solids. Let it cool.


For the Lemonade

In a pitcher, add in the peach syrup, lemon juice, lemon extract, and 4 cups of water. Refrigerate until cold if desired. Pour the peach lemonade into mason jars, cups or glasses filled with ice, garnish with lemon slices, peach slices or diced peaches and mint leaves (if desired) serve and enjoy!
