Kings and Generals historical animated documentary series on the Eastern Front of World War II starts out with the prelude episode #1 covering the end of the Great War. In this first prelude episode, we set the stage with the collapse of Tsarist Russia in Fall of the Tsarist Regime, followed by the chaos of the Provisional Government’s Struggles. The narrative then moves into The October Revolution, when the Bolsheviks seized power and reshaped Russia’s future. As the new regime seeks peace, we explore the harsh terms of the Treaty of Brest-Litovsk, which drastically reshaped Eastern Europe. In The End of World War I, we witness Germany's final offensives and ultimate collapse. Finally, Postwar Upheaval and New Borders covers the emergence of new nations and the Soviet Union’s ambitions to reclaim lost territories. This marks the beginning of a multi-year series covering every week of the Eastern Front. Subscribe and follow along as we chronicle history, 84 years later.
