Research shows that programs adapted to meet the needs of racialized children and young people tend to be more effective than those where culture or context have not been considered. This webinar provided an introduction to culturally responsive programs and their importance, exploring how programs can be adapted to meet the needs of racialized children and young people.
The webinar featured panel presentations by child and youth mental health and addictions workers sharing research and their own experiences of offering culturally responsive programs, followed by a facilitated discussion.
