This is the entrance to Port Phillip Bay, one of the narrowest openings, to the biggest bay in the world. A solid 5-10 ft swell running, with the Abel Tasman coming back to Melbourne, with the West Coast on the other side of the headland.
Quarantine wasn’t firing, as wrong angle and tide already sucking out, but it will be on tmrw, with a new, bigger ground swell arriving.
Fins or foil, we’re spoilt for choice..
