This Yamaha C2 Grand was built in 2002 in Japan, and is finished in Polished Mahogany. Being an example of Yamaha’s renowned C Series pianos, the materials used are of the highest quality, and assembled with a particularly high level of craftsmanship. These pianos are famed for being highly durable, retaining their quality for many decades.
Being a large baby grand (5’8” in length), the C2 is both compact enough to be accommodated in most domestic settings, but also benefits from longer strings and a larger soundboard than would be found in smaller grands. It therefore has a very full and rich sound in the bass and middle sections, as well as a crystalline brilliance in the treble area. The action is nicely balanced and incredibly responsive.
