The slogan "Har Sahabi-e-Nabi Jannati Jannati" has gained recognition only in the last five years or so. Yet, the truth it expresses has been clear to people of insight long before that. In this short clip from 2004, Hazrat Pir Syed Abdul Qadir Jilani outlines his own personal aqeeda and that of the Ahle Sunnat regarding the respect and honour owed to the Sahaba (Allah be pleased with them all), while also eloquently addressing the question of which act of worship carries the greatest reward.
In the same clip, he beautifully proclaims the phrase "Haq Sab Yaar," noting that he had first declared it decades earlier. While some continue to question his respect and loyalty towards the noble Companions (Allah be pleased with them all), it is evident that the understanding now being emphasised by many was already articulated by Hazrat Pir Syed Abdul Qadir Jilani over a quarter-century before "Har Sahabi-e-Nabi Jannati Jannati" became popular. This reflects his deep foresight and highlights just how far ahead of his time he truly was, may Allah have mercy on him.
