Loyalty to Christ (Weekly Hymn Project)

Today's hymn is "Loyalty to Christ".
Another brand new one to me. I really enjoyed learning this one. It seems that I've had quite a run of slower, more contemplative hymns lately, so this more upbeat hymn was just what I needed. It almost has a marching feel to it or perhaps it's the line "Cries our great Commander; 'On!'" that gives it a military feel. I'm not sure, but this was a pleasant surprise, as many new ones end up being. Maybe I shall pick this one sometime for a Live Stream Hymn Sing. :-)
