HAGARA Sessions | Jagad - Khayat

#MTMYSessions with HAGARA presents two of their songs namely 'JAGAD' and their latest single 'KHAYAT'.

'JAGAD' was one of their first singles back when they released a mini album (EP) titled, 'BARAKA'. 'JAGAD' is one of the first two songs (apart form 'SOLACE') from, that they called, naked output with RAW as their album name. Then 'JAGAD', finally became one of the songs that filled their debut album, BARAKA.

One of their newest songs, which are also on their album BARAKA, 'KHAYAT' tells a story about a person who experiences an enlightenment within. Which one can finally make peace with the past and all forms of emotions that are raging inside the mind without having to try hard to get rid of those emotions. How could one be able to celebrate one's own very existence by slightly extinguishing the inner ego.

About HAGARA
Derived from the same fidgetiness of the basic fundamental topics that revolve on the tip of the surface, Satrio Nugroho Aji, Bagas Sigit Nugroho, Luthfi Pradhana, Joshua Alexander, and Bagus Edghar Saputra agreed to knit their unrest feeling and emotions into the language of musical output. Having different musical backgrounds, they try to put their own musical experience into a new musical vision with a blend elements of shoegaze, post-ambient and progressive music into the music they wrote.

The name of Hagara was taken from Hebrew “Hagar” means “flight”. And by that, they hope that Hagara and the listerners could “fly high” to break the boundaries of their own limitation and grow to be a better human being.
