2491 is part of a 28 bus order for Brampton Transit's Züm rapid transit network. These units are found exclusively on the aforementioned network's routes. Unlike previous Züm orders, these units are the first ever diesel buses ordered for the Züm network, as production of 2024 XDE60s were on hold at the time of procurement due to the lack of an EPA 2024 compliant engine available for the XDE60 model.
