This is the perfect Jollof rice master class.
I meant I cooked for 65minutes not 35mins
Ingredients
Rice - 1 paint or 4Kg
Tomato paste - 400g sachet + 3pcs 70g sachet
Boiled Pepper Mix (see detailed mix below)
Onions - 2 bulbs sliced
Knorr seasoning cube - 11 wraps = 22 cubes
curry powder - 2 tablespoons
thyme - 2 1/2 tablespoons
Garlic and ginger powder - 4 tablespoons
bayleaf 4 pieces
jollof spice - 3 tablespoons
salt 2 1/2 tablespoons
Broth
water - 730ml (you can reduce if broth is more than 3 cups and also use 600ml if using short grain rice)
butter
fresh nutmeg 0 - 1 piece
vegetable oil -
Pepper Mix combination
Tatashe(red bell peppers medium sized) - 15 pieces
Shombo (red chilli peppers medium size) - 15 pieces
Tomatoes fresh - 5 medium pieces
Onions - 6 bulbs
Garlic - 4 cloves
