We Made It to St Maarten! Family Arrival, Beach Bar Bites & Poolside Fun in Maho Village

After a full day of travel, we finally arrive in beautiful St. Maarten and reunite with our daughter, son-in-law, and two adorable granddaughters at the Royal Islander La Plage in Maho Village — just steps from the famous airport beach!

We kick off our island adventure with dinner and drinks at the laid-back Driftwood Beach Bar, a perfect welcome to paradise with ocean views, cold cocktails, and casual island vibes.

After dinner, it’s straight to the pool for a refreshing dip and some quality time with the grandkids — the perfect end to a long travel day.
