Join us as we take on Section 6 of the Oregon Backcountry Discovery Route (ORBDR), traversing from the rugged beauty of Mount Hood National Forest all the way south to Sisters, Oregon. This stretch delivered everything we love about overlanding in the Pacific Northwest: lush green forests, high mountain ridges, burn zones, and hidden alpine lakes.
Chris and I camped beneath the stars, tackled remote forest roads, and even found a perfect spot for a much-needed backcountry shower. Every mile brought new contrast—from tree tunnels wrapped in deep green to hauntingly beautiful wildfire-scarred landscapes.
