This audio story celebrates the 40th anniversary of the first time that 'Thomas the Tank Engine' graced our television screens. In this little adaptation of the 'Railway Series' book 'Very Old Engines', I thought to give my own, sort of, tribute to both franchises and bring them together.
In this story, Rheneas and Skarloey prepare to celebrate their one-hundredth birthday and they cannot wait for the big day. Skarloey even gets to tell an eager Thomas about the younger days before being reunited with an old friend when the birthday celebrations are in full swing...
