Lake Lugano is one of many beautiful lakes that straddle the Swiss-Italian border including the more famous Lake Como. With the Swiss Alps encircling the lake, there are stunning views at every turn which makes Lake Lugano a worthwhile trip from Milan or any other town in northern Italy.
