For today's #PedalOfTheDay, we bring you back to our #OneMinuteWonder shorts on YouTube, where we have selected the brilliant Octave Fuzzer from Hylight Electronics. The familiar blue metal enclosure this time encases a superb fuzz pedal built by Tone Bender-inventor Gary Hurst, himself. A plethora of voice-able fuzz tones are just a footswitch tap away, and can be easily dialled in using the pedal's intuitive, simple trio of controls.

But where the magic kicks in, is when you stomp on that second Octave/Normal footswitch, allowing you to engage some truly superb Hendrix-y octave fuzz tones: just like all of your favourite records. These hand-built fuzz units not only have a legendary designer and builder to their name, but they really do sound monstrous. Hard-to-find, and limited in number, we are proud to stock these superb British-made effects boxes, here at Regent Sounds. Can we tempt you in to try one out?

The guitar played here is a Fender American Vintage 1959 Stratocaster, and we’re plugged into a Fender Hot Rod Deluxe amplifier, mic’d up with an sE Electronics V7 dynamic microphone.
