I really hate snaps/crackles/pops (the sounds, not the cereal), when I’m listening to my records.
I’m on a mission to find the best way to clean my records, and along the way, I want to share the different tools that I’m using.
I recently picked up the new Okki Nokki One vacuum record cleaning system, and I wanted to compare to another vacuum record cleaner that I have, the Squeaky Clean Mk3.
This isn’t meant to be a definitive overview of each cleaner, instead, I wanted to see what difference, if any, there is between the two when it comes to a simple cleaning.
This isn’t my normal cleaning regimen, but I wanted to keep the comparison simple and apples-to-apples.
For this comparison, I made a batch of the London Jazz Collector formula to use.
