We have a wonderful multidisciplinary team. It’s a team effort from the day patients come in. We have occupational therapy, physiotherapy, dietary, speech language pathology, rehab assistants and nurses. We collaborate really well together. When somebody arrives, it’s all hands on deck...it really is a wonderful team effort,” says Julie Hignett, Charge Nurse on PRHC’s Integrated Stroke Unit.
