The Korg Wavestation rose from the ashes of Sequential Circuits in 1990. Looking for fat bass and lead sounds? Look elsewhere because this is a pad machine! These are fairly inexpensive these days and it's a good way to get some digital character into your studio. You'll never want to program it, but more patches exist online. Some of the sounds are a bit goofy, but there are some exquisite textures to be found. This is brilliant if you do film/game scoring. Try it out if you find one in a shop somewhere.
