This travel guide was filmed in Telluride during the off season, which meant a lot of the experiences we planned to showcase were unexpectedly closed. That forced us to pivot constantly, rework the shooting plan on the fly, and build a clean narrative around what was available. On top of that, winter conditions in the mountains meant short daylight windows, so every location had to be covered quickly and efficiently.
This was also the very first travel guide I shot for Wander, so it was a true learn-on-your-feet production. Balancing talent direction, changing locations, unpredictable closures, and limited natural light pushed me to think fast and move even faster. The final piece reflects the adaptive, run-and-gun nature of the shoot while still capturing the character of Telluride and the surrounding landscape.
