Planetside 2: Recording test with Nvidia Shadowplay (medium quality, small review in description)

Testing Shadowplay manual recording for any fps drop or lagg, so far i had a few fps drop and laggspikes when looking into a large zerg like battle, it is possible that that's just Planetside. I noticed that I had barely had any fps drop, it's hard to notice because the fps of the game goes from 20 to 40 and back to 20 within a split second, it felt there was no fps drop at all.

Shadowplay is a free game recorder aslong you have a Nvidia graphics card which has the kepler GPU (GTX 650 or higher, GTX 650 TI included). Shadowplay will be installed when you download Geforce Experience and you can configure Shadowplay in Geforce Experience. Once installed and configured you have to run your game fullscreen, otherwise it wont work (as of 1 November 2013). you'll see a small icon in one of the corners of the screen (these wont get in the final video). Press the assigned button to record or record what happend a few minutes ago (Shadowplay function) and it should change according to the action which was taken.

So far it amazing, able to record with barely any FPs drop, but a disadvantage is that the files can be very large (especially when using high) and there are not a lot of options to change fps or resolution, the fact that fullscreen is required and only ingame sound can be recorded. but remember this is still in beta and is quite nice for a beta.
