FRIDAYS WITH FRANK: Special Guest Jerry Blaine of LDI Connect

In this week's episode, Founder Frank G. Cannata is joined by Jerry Blaine, president and CEO of LDI Connect, who discusses the dealership's recent Fall 2025 Technology Showcase at its New York City location in Times Square. Cannata attended the event and was quite impressed, calling it an eye-opening experience. Blaine describes how one aspect of LDI's business has evolved to include printing on a wide range of media and substrates. Blaine shifts gears to explain the importance of LDI's non-print activities, such as security cameras and video panels.

Blaine says LDI Connect got involved with selling security cameras after Canon acquired Axis Communications. Today, LDI has several high-volume installation sites with more than 1,000 cameras each. Blaine also discusses how video display panels, too, have become a big business opportunity for LDI Connect. He tells Cannata about a school district that, with the help of corresponding software, has transformed lunch e-menus into learning experiences so students can better understand the nutritional value of food. Blaine also talks about the grand opening of the first ever MAXHUB Experience Center in LDI's NYC showroom.
