Hi, my name is Vita, I am a hippie crafty homemaker and I like to give old clothes a makeover, specially when it needs some repairing and I don't want to shop for a new zipper or extra things that it may need to make the repair happen.
Instead I restyle it in a most logical way, using what I already have. It gives me an opportunity to get creative, to practice sewing skills and potentially invent something cool.
Sometimes ofcourse things do not go exactly how I planed.... but hey, it's all good, we only lost something that was already unwanted and gained practice session and a lesson.
In this video I am sharing how I restyle a dress that had a broken zipper.
Restyled a skirt.
Enhanced a denim vest jacket.
Upcycled a stained dress.
You will see all the items before, what my plans are, how I cut it all up. Sewing process (fast forward) as it all took me 4 hours to complete in real time.
In the end sharing a quick demo of how the best dress looks on me, few before and after photos.
