Car Design and Made in Italy - ENG

On 23 November 2020, ANFIA Car Coachbuilders and Designers Group
(https://www.anfia.it/en/member-compan...) organized the round table entitled "“Car Design and Made in Italy: creativity and fascination for the Ecomomic future of Italy”, focused on the importance of Car Design as a factor of distinction and development of Italian companies also on the International markets. Objective: remarking the value of design in the Italian employment system and underlining how this discipline is evolving and changing in a radical way. Never forget that Design is first of all a functional tool aimed to the fruition of experiences built on physical objects, digital and sensory interfaces and so on, which are transversal to several industrial sectors. This stimulates the comparison and the collaboration among the companies from different sectors which characterize the Italian industrial fabric.
To the Round Table, moderated by Chris Bangle, Automotive Designer, involved leading personalities from different branches of Industry and experiences. After the introduction by Silvio Angori, President of the ANFIA Car Coachbuilders and Designers Group, the speakers Stefano Boeri, Architect and President of Triennale di Milano, Roberto Cingolani, Physicist and Chief of Leonardo Technology & Innovation Officer, Niko Von Saurma, Designer and VP of BSH (Bosch & Siemens Appliances) and Gian Paolo Manzella, Undersecretary of State for the Economic Development offered very interesting suggestions about such theme.
