Not what I hoped for on my first flight of 2022. It was light winds and a bit off to the south so I knew that getting up was going to be a challenge. I enjoy the challenge of trying to make the most of these weak days and fighting to get up, admittedly I like it more when I win! There were a couple of points when I probably should have turned back along the ridge sooner. Still, it was a good launch despite the light wind and little slope and a good landing despite the bog! Knowing that you're not going to be able to run when your feet touch the ground concentrates your mind on doing a really good hard flare!
