1950’s Nuclear Fallout Detector ☢️

This is an original 1950’s Nuclear Fallout Detector!
After shaking the Fallout Detector, the red plastic beads are given a static charge that causes them to rise up. Exposure to radiation ionizes the air inside the device. When the red beads lose their charge, they drop to the bottom of the cylinder. The faster this occurs, the higher the radiation levels.
