Visiting a Nature Reserve at the Wrong Time (Filey Dams, UK)

What's it really like to visit a nature reserve in the UK for bird photography? The truth is it largely depends on weather and season... and if you want close pictures - a little luck! I visit YWT Filey Dams nature reserve, in East Yorkshire, for the first time, showing you the different hides and the opportunities for birdwatching and photography. This was definitely an Autumnal day of ups and downs. This is often reality on these reserves in the UK!
