Elvis Presley was a singer, an actor, and a one-man cultural phenomenon – not to mention one of the few people who's ever lived that you can impersonate as a career. It's only fitting that he would get the biopic treatment, and now, thanks to director Baz Luhrmann, it's happening with style.

The simply-titled "Elvis," which spent years in development before being further delayed by the pandemic, is finally being released in June 2022, and it sounds like it was worth the wait. Starring Austin Butler as Elvis Presley and Tom Hanks as his manager, Colonel Tom Parker, the movie has been described by Lisa Marie Presley as "nothing short of spectacular."
