Join me for a speeded up point of view run at Redcar Parkrun.
This was their 623rd event and my 138th.
Redcar Parkrun in held in a Victorian park, called Locke Park, as you head into Redcar.
The team advise parking in the local college car park which is a short walk away. Public transport will also be available into Redcar itself, and as a small town, the park is easily accessible from the town center.
I also saw a passenger train go passed the park, so there will be trains running to the town, but they will be small commuter type trains on a branch line.
The course is flat and three laps.
It was slightly congested at the start but soon spread out.
Underfoot, the terrain is tarmac paths for the whole course.
