Khaliya Top Trek is small but exciting trek. Munsiyari is a beautiful hill station located in the Pithoragarh district of Uttarakhand. Munsiyari is at an altitude of approx 7,218 feet. Munsiyari serves as a base for many treks like Milam Glacier Trek & Ralam Glacier Trek. Munsyari is also known as Gateway to the 'Johar Valley'.
Khaliya Top Trek starts from Balanti band which is 8 kilometers from Munsiyari. Khaliya top trek is known for breathtaking views of many Himalayan ranges such as Panchachuli Peaks, Nanda Devi, Rajrambha etc. Khaliya trail goes through lush green meadows and dense forests. This is 6 kilometers trek (one side). Khaliya top can offer you an excellent camping experience.
The Khaliya Bugyal summit gives panoramic views of snow-capped Himalayan peaks. If weather is clear you can see several of these peaks. In winter, the meadows are covered in a thick blanket of snow, making this trek an adventure. Khaliya is relatively an easy trek with gradual ascent.
