Meet the Students of Nilung Tungko - the young cultural ambassadors tasked with carrying forward Adi's tribe legacy.
Founded in July 2023, the Fourth Indigenous Gurukul in the State, located in Pabo, Komsing, Siang District, is being run by the Donyi Polo Cultural & Charitable Trust.
It serves as a cradle nurturing the next generation of torchbearers tasked with preserving and perpetuating the age-old culture, traditions, and heritage of the Adi tribe.
Alongside regular NCERT subjects, these young students are taught age-old traditions, customs, and practices of their ancestors, ensuring the legacy of the Adi tribe lives on for generations to come.
