Donato Donatello, (1386 - 466), foi um escultor do Renascimento e um dos mais importantes para o naturalismo na escultura. Donatello esteve em Roma estudando arte antiga para então desenvolver novas linguagens e fazer descobertas, sobretudo, da escultura equestre , cuja técnica havia se perdido desde da época do Império Romano.
Nesse episódio eu conto um pouco sobre a vida dele e sua façanha para colocar no mapa da arte renascentista, a escultura monumental equestre.
Para narrar essa história, visitei cinco cidades e algumas obras. Confere aí que está bem legal.
Donato Donatello, (1386 - 466), was a sculptor from the early Renaissance period and one of the most important to create a new sculpture vocabulary. Donatello was in Rome studying ancient art and then developing new languages and discovering, especially, equestrian sculpture, whose technique had been lost since the time of the Roman Empire.
In this episode I tell a little about his life and his feat to put on the map of Renaissance art, the monumental equestrian sculpture.
To tell this story, I visited five cities and some works. Check that it is very cool.
