The first alignment attempt worked to correct the adverse tire wear but car pulled to the left. When we contacted a shop for an appointment for a professional alignment we were advised that the front suspension needed to be raised to simulate normal driving position to evaluate ball joint wear. When I raised the suspension I could feel slight movement in the lower ball joint indicating slight wear., none in the upper ball joint or tie-rod. Since I had the parts to replace all, I went ahead and changed everything.
The bolts for the adjusting cams needed to be threaded out between coils on the shock-strut. On the left side the cam under the bolt head was stuck to the bolt and needed work to get it loose to slid along the bolt enough to remove the bolt. One bolt on the right side would not fit through the coils on the shock-strut, necessitating the removal of the shock-strut. Of course the nuts striped on the studs of the shock-strut.
My camera is acting up. If it gets bumped by the cat or dog, or some other source, it shuts down and corrupts the recorded video of that file. That is the reason for the disjointed videos.
