On a beautiful July day on 2021, Salamanca, NY-based local SARE (Salamanca Relief) departs the southern New York city and heads north along former Baltimore & Ohio tracks, first to Machias to set out empty stone hoppers at a stone quarry before returning to Ashford Junction to head up the Third Subdivision for West Valley with Wellsboro & Corning SD40-3 #6072 in the lead; the only time I have ever seen a six-axle on this local turn!
