Materials needed:
One sheet of 18"x24" drawing paper
Graphite Pencil
Vinyl Eraser
2 Skewers
Set up a still life of objects that have straight lines. Boxes work well.
Do not draw from a photograph—it will prevent you from learning! Start with a quick 15-second intuitive gesture, then use organizational lines and measuring ratios to adjust the proportions. Then you can use two skewers to find the angles as demonstrated in this video.
