ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿਜੀਲੈਂਸ ਬਿਉਰੋ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਸੇ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਪੱਤਰਕਾਰ ਰਾਜਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਤੱਗੜ ਦੇ ਜਾਅਲੀ ਦਸਤਖ਼ਤ ਕਰਕੇ ਇੱਕ PCS ਅਫ਼ਸਰ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਭ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟਾਚਾਰ ਸੰਬੰਧੀ ਝੂਠੀ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਇਤ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ। ਵਿਜੀਲੈਂਸ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਬਿਨਾਂ ਅਧਾਰ ਕਾਰਡ ਜਾ affidavit ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੋਈ ਸਬੂਤ ਰਹਿਤ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਇਤ ਤੇ ਜਾਂਚ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਤੱਗੜ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਮਨ ਭੇਜ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਸ਼ਿਕਾਇਤ ਦੇਖਣ ਤੇ ਪਤਾ ਲੱਗਾ ਕਿ ਦਸਤਖ਼ਤ ਜਾਅਲੀ ਹਨ।

Someone made a complaint to the Vigilance Bureau against a PCS Officer regarding his corruption by forging the signatures of journalist Rajinder Singh Taggar. To top it, the VB launched an inquiry when the complaint did not even carry the mandatory Aadhaar card or an affidavit of the complainant. Taggar was summoned by VB to record his statement on December 8, 2025.
