The ASRA Lightweight Superbike (Amateur) race at Summit Point Motorsports Park (Main Circuit) was the best race of the weekend for me. There were quite a few of us on Aprilia RS 660's, which made for some good hard racing, and it ended up being a super fun race.
Please excuse my duct-taped windhshield from my false-netural highside the day before
Mark Thompson (yellow leathers - black bike), @162CR Mason Luck (white leathers - yellow bike), and I were all switching places back and forth throughout the entirety of the race up until the very last second.
However, going into the last lap there was an expert rider (who started on the first wave - us amateurs started on the second wave) that found his way into our battle for P1 in the Amateur class, with a rather unfashionable divebomb into Turn 1. Genuinley not sure what he was planning there on the brakes, but glad nobody got hurt.
This was my second ASRA race weekend to date, and while the first round for me at PITT RACE was a great experience, Summit Point brought the action! Can't wait to make it back to Summit come August :)
