Parkinson’s Community Program in Indonesia | King’s College Hospital Dubai and EMC

In Jakarta, we joined hands with EMC Healthcare and PRAI for a very special gathering: the first Parkinson’s patients community program in Indonesia and the 2nd Parkinson’s & Movement Disorders Symposium.

More than 150 patients and carers came together. We listened to their stories, shared knowledge, and spoke about the real challenges families face every day. It was also the start of the King’s–PRAI–Indonesia Visiting Fellowship, opening doors for young doctors to train in movement disorders.

The day was full of energy, learning, and connection. Indonesia welcomed us with warmth, amazing food, and unforgettable hospitality. We are excited to return soon and continue building on this important work.
