This walk starts off with a view of Stockholm City Hall, and takes you by some of the oldest buildings in Stockholm on Riddarholmen before taking the alleys in Old Town to the Royal Castle and a lovely view over pink and purple sky mirrored in the water. The first church you pass is Riddarholmskyrkan, that opened its gates around the year 1300, and that is the resting place for many kings and queens. The walk also takes you by Stortorget, many shops and restaurants, and down to the shoreline of Skeppsbron, with a lovely view of Grand Hotel, the National Museum (Nationalmuseum) and Skeppsholmen with its pretty buildings and the hostel ship Af Chapman.
The walk is about 2.5 km.
I’m trying something new with the sound: keeping most of the natural sound, but when it gets to windy, or my breathing to loud I mix in some background music. I think it turned out pretty relaxing- what do you think?
