A restored cut from the 1961 album, "Reacaireacht an Riadaigh", featuring the band led by Seán Ó Riada, Ceoltóirí Chualann. This cut is titled in the gaelic, "An Long fe Lan-tSeol" (sometimes "An Long faoi Lán Seoil"), or "The Ship at Full Sail". The Ceoltóirí Chualann was considered the forerunner of the legendary Irish band, The Chieftains, with many of its founding members originating in the Ceoltóirí Chualann. Band leader, Seán Ó Riada was an early advocate of the bodhran as a primary percussion instrument in Irish music - and the now familiar instrument is featured in many of their recordings.
