This model can be made with paper or plastic currency (makes a cute graduation gift). I've scaled-up the dimensions so it can be made with A4 (or A3) paper.
Here's some dimensions and finished sizes so you can make it even bigger:
A4 paper - 210mm x 90mm - makes 6cm x 6cm x 2.5cm cap
A4/A3 paper - 297mm x 127mm - makes 9cm x 9cm x 2.5cm cap
A3 paper - 420mm x 180mm - makes 12.5cm x 12.5cm x 3cm cap
